Since I had no physical contact with my clients because of COVID-19, training my clients online, virtually on Zoom, was the key to keeping everyone on track with their workouts and to provide nutritional counselling.
Virtual training has become a huge timesaver because with no need to commute or travel from home to work, or worry about taking the bus, subway or running into traffic or finding a parking spot in the car - my clients find they don't have a reason to NOT set aside 30 minutes to join in, on our group fitness classes or attend their private training sessions.
The 30 minute sessions consist of bodyweight exercises, band work and free weights (5lb or 10lb weights). You don't need any special equipment, as every workout is different and some solely consist of bodyweight exercises, where you need zero equipment and for the free weights, if you don't have actual weights, some of my clients use a cans they have lying around their house or water bottles or wine bottles.
There are 168 hours in a week and all you need is 30 minutes, 3 to 4 times per week to look better, feel better and have more energy to enjoy your life.
It has been a true pleasure pivoting from in person to virtual fitness and I have been happy to be your health coach through it all - pre, during and post COVID-19.
