Exercise is one of the most important things you can do for your health...
It brings down high blood pressure and lowers your risk for heart attacks, strokes, and a variety of cancers.
It helps prevent type 2 diabetes and helps you manage your weight.
It promotes better sleep.
It even improves mood and eases depression, stress and anxiety.
Exercise is also an essential habit for bone health.
This is true at any age.
When you're young, exercise helps to build bone.
During adulthood, it helps to maintain bone.
Later in life, it is the key for preventing serious bone loss and for developing the
strength and agility that enables you to avoid falling and breaking a bone.
