A Dry February? Here's Why

When I moved from Montreal to Toronto in 1975 and got a job with Vic Tanny's, my

first manager was Al Cowan. He looked like Robert Goulet, dressed like a fashion model, could run down the front lobby, and do handspring flips. He was also the best sales closer I have ever seen.

He always walked out of the office with a contract within minutes. It was not a huge surprise when he worked his way up to President of Vic Tanny's 5 years after. I never saw him work out even once.

Unless you count his nightlife, which was abundant. lol.

He was a heavy smoker and drinker. But every January he did not drink a drop,

or smoke. He said he did that to prove to himself he still had control of his life.

Now everyone of you that know me also know I like a glass of wine as much as anybody. There is a big movement on right now. "No Drinking In February." It's good for all the reasons above, plus you cut a lot of calories, and blow off a lot of

brain fog.

I'm in. How about you?
